EXPRESSIONS of AGILITY

June 16, 2011 in AAC Regionals, Canine, Recent

Many times the monotony of sorting and editing over 28,000 photos from the 2011 AAC Ontario Regionals is broken up with a good smile or a little laughter. Are you thinking “what makes them smile and laugh while looking over all those dog photos”

EXPRESSIONS!!

We see these amazing canines having a great time out with their handlers in the rain, fog, mud and heat, running the courses and working their tails off being the best that they can be. Thanks to the skills of our photographers we capture moments that you may never see in the split second it takes for the dogs to jump an obstacle, climb an a-frame, walk a teeter or soar through a tire… things that would not be “normal” to a canine sometimes may not be the “smoothest” (yes, I had many choices for a word ) moment, however these canines are always expressing shear enjoyment with every foot print they leave behind.

EXPRESSIONS!!

Now, I did not say only the canines have “great” (yes, again, I had many choices for a word) expressions. So we had to add a few “expressions” of handlers that gave us a few little chuckles or honestly made us say “I love the handlers expression” ;-) … you make a photo come alive! So please, no hate email, we know very well how hard you all work to be where you are and by no means are these images to embarrass or make fun of your effort. They are, for photographers, the split seconds that complete the story of your runs, your efforts and your accomplishments and if every photo was a “perfect or of a perfectly handled obstacle”  the story of agility for us would become very repetitious and honestly the days would be that much longer. Please, don’t miss understand that, we do love to capture all the amazing great runs and cheer right along with your friends and fellow competitors. However, this post is about, EXPRESSIONS!

Hopefully the photos below bring a few expressions to you and that within your dogs photos we have captured some expressions for your memories, Enjoy!
